Artist's Comments

I began this a looong time ago, and never finished it until today. It first started it as an experiment, I liked it more and more as I became more involved with it. Then I got stuck, left it alone for a couple of months and decided to give it an ending for closure.

It was supposed to be poetry, but now I guess it's more of a thoughtful statement. Like I said, this was all an experiment. The real purpose of this project was to explore different ways of reading and writing. Don't know whether I should call it a success or not. Ah well, we'll see.

Of course, to fully appreciate the meaning behind this visual poetry, you must full view.

There was a young man from Japan
Whose verses never would scan.
When they said this was so,
He said, "Yes, I know,
But I always try to get as many words in the last line
as I possibly can."
